Now more than ever, people care about where their food comes from. What began with the desire to supply a need in the community for top-quality, locally sourced meat options, Maple Country Meats has grown into a one-stop-shop of curated food items.
The shop offers hand-picked, farm-raised beef, pork, lamb, goat, chicken, ground beef, hot dogs and sausage, as well as fresh produce, from-scratch sauces and seasonings, and an ample selection of groceries. Selling high-quality products without the additional cost is a mission here, and you’ll find your bill will be lower here than traditional grocery stores.
We take our active role in the community seriously and enjoy making connections through our weekly Farmers Markets on Thursdays Memorial Day until Thanksgiving, hosting food trucks and local craftspeople.
LOCALLY SOURCED MEATS
premium quality local meat with every cut
We assure the best quality of meats, including beef, pork, lamb, goat, chicken, ground beef, hot dogs and sausage, which are all antibiotic-free, steroid-free, hormone-free and all-natural. The beef is hung for 30 days to naturally tenderize the final product, which is never run through a tenderizer or processor. Following butcher shop protocol, as much of the animal is used as possible, with tougher cuts going to make sausage and burgers, and even the bones sold as dog toys.
We work with farms in Orwell, Garrettsville, Middlefield and Colebrook. Since most of our products come from within 50 miles, that helps lessen our carbon footprint, too.

FROZEN SECTION
Chill Out with Our Frozen Selection
Our freezer section is well stocked with everything needed to put scrumptious food on the table, including frozen fruits, vegetables and potato products. You’ll also find frozen all-natural dog food made from real meat and doggie treats.
GROCERY ITEMS
Quality groceries, just a store away
During the spring, summer and early fall months, we carry a wide selection of locally grown produce, as well as locally sourced milks, cheeses and eggs. Our selection of more than 30 cheeses comes shredded, sliced or in blocks. The type of organic milk we sell is A2/A2 milk from the Old Country Creamery in Burton, genetically sourced from the cow and so pure it can be tolerated by most people with lactose sensitivity.
